At Baldarroch Chapel and Crematorium we are fully committed to supporting the local community in any way we can. This ranges from:
- Using locals business wherever possible, be that in the construction of the building to the ongoing day to day support needed to make the Baldarroch the success it is today.
- Donating money to local charities from the sale of recycled metals (more details of which can be found here). The Sandpiper Trust were recent recipients of £2849.68 for money made from the last batch of recycled metals.
The provision of a Public Access Defibrillator. The cabinet containing the defibrillator is located externally under the canopy on the right hand side of the building. Access to the cabinet can be only be gained via the staff at Baldarroch or during periods of closure by ringing the emergency services on 999 who will then pass on the cabinet door combination. Hopefully you will never need to use it but it is nice to know it is there in times of emergency.
